    I took this photo in person, pictured here is the Collared Peccary AKA Javelina common to the southern united stated and all 5 species in the peccary family ranges throughout Mexico to Central America. They’re closest relatives are the Hippopotamus. In spite of the pig like appearance and habits, they are in no way near related to pigs at all.
